Review: A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

Feyre survived Amarantha’s clutches to return to the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can’t forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin’s people.

Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of a world cleaved in two.

5/5 stars

Well I must say…I was warned about this book being amazing, addictive, heart breaking and beautiful, but I was not prepared for it by any means.  I felt like I stepped into the world, I could see the Night Court, Velaris, all of it!! And don’t even get me started on the more intimate scenes…

I won’t give any spoilers away so don’t worry, but I was so enthralled with this book that I finished it in like 2 nights!  Sarah J. Maas has great writing as usual, and I found myself loving Raysand as a character more and more as I went.

Anyone who knows Sarah J. Maas’ writing knows to expect a few twists…and this doesn’t disappoint! I can’t wait for book 3 coming May 2017!

Until next time…
